OEM Software
Oem stands for "original equipment manufacturer." Almost all software comes in two versions. The retail boxed version, which is what you'll find on the store shelf and sold to the public. And the OEM version, which is sold mostly to system builders. OEM products are the same full version, quality products you get at the store, but they do not have the fancy packaging materials, and they are produced in much higher volume.
The result, a much lower price.

What's the catch?
OEM Software must be purchased with hardware.
If your upgrading your system or buying a new one this is the perfect opportunity to load up on new software.
